Have you ever wondered why Rhododendron is the national flower of Nepal? We have this ingrained in our memory since childhood that the Rhododendron is our national flower, but why? How? When? It's even surprising that our curiosity about this very topic was never jolted.  Rhododendron (locally known as "Laliguras") was officially declared the national flower of Nepal on February 1, 1962 ( 2019 B. S).
